Surf City 5 and 10

In 1952, father and son, Jerry and Carl Joorman 

founded what would become a landmark on Long Beach Island,

the Surf City 5&10.

What was once a small building ,

evolved into what now spans an entire

block in Surf City, New Jersey.

Six decades and three generations later,

the Joorman legacy continues to be

family owned and operated. 

Still retaining that "old school"

charm, the store maintains the same

character as it did in 1952.

And  you can still get something for 5 or 10 cents!
